Mortgage Timeline

“Ideal Financial Planning will make the process of finding your perfect mortgage a simple one. We will then guide you through the purchase process from offer right up to completion.”

Before you find a property
We start with a full appraisal of your situation: what you want, what you can afford and what you can borrow, based on your income and attitude to risk. Then we’ll find a suitable product. Our advanced Mortgage sourcing system is updated daily, so our advisers always know the latest deals from the biggest, most reputable lenders.

After you’ve found the property you want
Even if you already have a mortgage offer, we will check the market to ensure it is still the most suitable.

While buying your property
We make the application to the lender and maintain contact with them right through the process. We also liaise closely with lenders, solicitors, surveyors and estate agents, making any interventions necessary to avoid problems at completion.

And Beyond…
We will continue to monitor your situation and contact you after a couple of years. The mortgage market changes constantly, as do your circumstances. Perhaps you no longer have an issue with proving income, for example. Whatever your situation we’ll advise you on your best option.

Re-Mortgages

“No matter how attractive a mortgage offer looks, it’s best not to be tied to a lender too long. If there’s a better deal out there, we believe our customers are entitled to it.”

Let’s say your initial mortgage benefit period comes to an end and suddenly an extra £400 is exiting your account every month. What should you do?

At Ideal Financial Planning Limited we believe re-mortgaging means more than finding a better rate. It means considering your next few years and assessing the best course of action.

For example, why move to a lower monthly rate if the penalty incurred takes years to repay based on the amounts saved each month. Especially if you’re planning to move again shortly.

We analyse the total cost of re-mortgaging: how long it takes to recover the cost and which mortgage deal provides the best option overall. Sometimes that means doing nothing.

Our advisers will inform you of any new schemes we feel may benefit you during the lifetime of your mortgage.

Capital Release

Re-mortgaging can also raise capital for investment or business purposes.

Financial Planning

Financial freedom is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself and your family. With a little wise planning now, your financial future can be secured, leaving you to sit back and enjoy your life free from the worry of uncertainty.

You probably already have goals for your future in mind – to be comfortable, perhaps, or to help your children and grandchildren. But in monetary terms, what does comfortable really mean? How much money will you actually need?

We will help you define exactly what you require to make your financial goals a reality and then help you achieve them through careful planning and investment.

Working out what you need is just one step towards your goal. You will also need to decide how you are going to get there, and the huge choice of financial products on the market can seem overwhelming without guidance. Our unbiased financial planners are here to advise and recommend products based on a mutual understanding of your present financial health, your goals, and the level of risk acceptable to you.

The benefits of starting now
According to research by the Institute of Financial Planning, people who save or invest small amounts of money early and often tend to do better than those who wait until later in life. The right advice can help you make the most of your income, savings, or investments, so you can start being better off almost immediately.

Mortgage Protection

“Sometimes unfortunate or unexpected events happen. They’re part of life. We can’t pretend otherwise and nor should you.”

At Ideal Finacial Planning Limited we take your future seriously. Unfortunately, for some people an illness or fatality may be part of that future. That’s why insurance is vital to everyone’s financial planning.

We can arrange all the necessary protections for your mortgage:

Life Cover
Critical Illness Cover
Payment Protection
Buildings and Contents Insurance
Based on your requirements, our advisers will present you with the right protection for your mortgage and your family.

We will only present options that fit your current circumstances – whether you have children, for example, or you are dependent on one income. We’ll make the suggestions. The rest is up to you.
